Francisco
Landing

Francisco Landing is a multi-use, multi-building apartment complex in Downtown Hopewell, located across from the historic Beacon Theatre and the Hopewell Public Library. This site sits on a bluff overlooking the Appomattox River. The two-phase project will feature multiple apartment buildings, an office/conference/event space, a community plaza and amphitheater, two separate parcels for commercial development, and a parking garage.

Cooper
Lofts

W. E. Bowman Construction, Inc. completed a Historic Tax Credit renovation of the late nineteenth-century historic building located in Richmond, Virginia’s historic Shockoe Valley and Tobacco Row District. The three-story, 12,650 SF building was originally a cooperage, and most recently operated as a bar and dance hall, known as The Flood Zone and later, Have a Nice Day Cafe. WEBC renovated Levels 1, 2, and 3 into a mix of 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom residential apartment units, including preserving and repairing floors, exposed framing and brick work, window openings, and a freight elevator shaft, while incorporating modern systems and conveniences. Renovations also included a new stair tower for egress inside the existing building footprint.
