ABOUT
OUR STORY
Founded in 1970, W. E. Bowman Construction, Inc. (WEBC) has been serving the construction industry for over 50 years. The WEBC team represents three generations of hands-on leadership and expertise. In addition to the value of time-tested experience, WEBC sets itself apart through a blend of skilled craftsmen, technology-driven construction management professionals, and our deep commitment to our vision to “Build the Best Places to Live, Work, and Enjoy Life”.
WEBC has been recognized with multiple awards over the years; not only for our work quality, but also for our company culture. As a family-owned and operated business, we believe firmly in treating both our team members and our clients like family. Our standard of excellence encompasses the quality of the work we perform, the relationships we build with our clients, and the supportive environment we provide to our team. Equally as important, we have a strong focus on safety, including an industry-leading EMR of .84.
Our highly experienced team has tackled nearly every type of construction project imaginable over the past 50 years. Hospital renovations, new multi-family development construction, and historical restorations are all in our wheelhouse, plus so much more. With each project, new challenges and opportunities present themselves, allowing us to highlight every project in a unique way.
As we like to say, “The Best is Yet to Come!”
FUN FACT:
The plumb bob has been used since at least the time of ancient Egypt to ensure that constructions are "plumb", or vertical. The "plumb" in "plumb bob" comes from the fact that such tools were originally made of lead (Latin: plumbum, French: plomb). The adjective "plumb" developed by extension, as did the noun "aplomb," from the notion of "standing upright."
